About this event

Nau mai haere mai

We invite you to be part of the live audience as our top five PowerUp Idea Competition finalists pitch their enterprise idea to an experienced judging panel, with one finalist winning the ultimate prize of $10,000 to take their idea to the next level.

It's a night to celebrate the top five's journey throughout the PowerUp programme and the strong entrepreneurial spirit of the region.

Hosted by long time business advocate, comedian, and honorary Taranaki local David Downs, and with special guest speakers, you are sure to be entertained and inspired.

The top five finalists range greatly in industry and application, and you'll hear business pitches covering Agri-tech, recycling waste product, tidal technology, a food product, and innovative skincare.

You'll have the opportunity to vote for your favourite idea on the night with the People's Choice Award generously sponsored by WITT. The people will have their say, and the idea with the most votes will receive $2,000 to use towards their idea.

Light refreshments and canapes are available throughout the evening.

Registration is essential as there are limited tickets.
